The following is a live recording from a fundraiser my dear friend CJ Hill put on last Fall, supporting the All-Ages Halifax Pavilion, one of the only places where musical entertainment is offered in Halifax for all-age audiences. I miss performing live, and seeing bands and musicians play live with so much of my being, but there will be another time for another show in the coming months (hopefully not years).

I am releasing this for free in light of the disgustingly unjust murder of the innocent George Floyd by the racist Derek Chauvin of the Minneapolis Police Department, and his equally guilty by-standing co-workers. I am releasing this also in further support of any black/POC communities in North America (including Canada and its Indigenous), as well as communities in all other parts of the world that have been subject to cruel treatment due to inter-relational and systemic racial prejudice for the past several hundred years. It is time for ALL to listen well to your voices and stories, and time for your voices and stories to be heard properly, and time for proper action to follow, by ALL.

One of the songs on this tape, which I wrote in protest to a wrongdoing committed by one of our own city's police officers on a vulnerable person in the past, will be featured in more up-to-date versions on future releases, along with my newest single, which will be the first Faux Lives tune recorded and mixed ALL in digital. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for it this coming Friday!

Until then, please continue telling those you love, but can't hold because of the restrictions we're all under right now how much you love them, don't lose hope or vigour, and keep your eyes, ears, thoughts, and hearts open for those that need them.
